Ladies, step forward
“XFactor”, the exhibition at the Teo + Namfah Gallery featuring emerging women artists, has been extended to November 30. Sculptor Piamchan Boontrai peers inside the psyche and finds a young woman filled with uncertainty. Kanchana Promjit’s satirical paintings draw on local proverbs. Preeyachanok Ketsuwan’s installations and video performances draw from local folklore. The abundance outside
Niti Wattuya’s solo show “The Wealth of Land and Stream” is at the Numthong Gallery from Saturday to December 20, featuring paintings that reveal the emotional intensity of landscapes. Got tunes, got talent
Art Republic brings together 23 Thai and foreign artists in “Music Through Art” from Saturday to January 22. They’ll all share their music preferences and show how it inspires them. Adi Kirketerp, Audrey Welch, Chalit Nakpawan, Elsie Evans and GiokJeon are among the lineup. The gallery is on the third floor of the Peninsula Plaza off Rajdamri Road.
