BoydPod celebrate romance in the City of Angels with a 13-film anthology under the title 'Bittersweet'
Love in the City of Light was celebrated in "Paris je t'aime" while romance in the Big Apple was feted in "New York I Love You".
Now Bangkok lovers take a bow in "Bittersweet BoydPod the Short Film", a compilation of 13 shorts inspired by the album of love songs titled "Bittersweet" by Boyd Kosiyabongse and Thanachai "Pod Moderndog" Uchin.
It's directed by the gang of six that brought us "Fan Chan" ("My Girl"). Each of is contributing two flicks, with the exception of Adisorn Trisirikasem, who's making three. It's the debut film of Major Cineplex Group's M Picture Entertainment.
Heartthrobs on screen
The films feature several stars including Jintara Sukapat, Chermarn Boonyasak, Manee-rat Khum-aun, Panisara Pim-pru, rising young star Jirayu La-ongmanee and comedian Kom Chuangchuen.
Vijjaphat Kojew, or Vijja as he was known, is the only one of the "Fan Chan" six not to have come out with a solo project since the 2003 blockbuster. He's kept busy as a film editor and is involved in promotional strategy for GTH.
