Oishi HQ is on the move

Oishi Group president and CEO Tan Passakornatee is investing big-time in Prachin Buri,

and the folks there can thank the Bangkok shopping mall where he once won a prize in a contest.

The prize was a free stay at the Aleenta Boutique Resort, where Tan fell in love with peaceful Prachin Buri.

He became a regular visitor, bringing the whole family, and now he's bought some land on which to build a boutique hotel for his daughter.

Financing the scheme isn't a problem: Tan is simply selling a bit of dirt in the Ploenchit area - for a record Bt1.2 million per square wah.

It's probably all heading Prachin Buri's way.
