James Bond's famous enemies are tracking teh hours ticking down to his latest adventure with a new collection from Swatch

Celebrating the legendary British secret agent's most memorable adversaries, Swatch recently launched the "Swatch 007 Villains Collection" - 22 watches inspired by the bad guys Bond fans love to hate.

"It's the art of the villain that interests us. James Bond would not exist in Ian Fleming's novels and all the Bond films if strong and powerful villains were not also there," said Nicolas G Hayek, founder and head of the world's largest watchmaking group, at the launch in the Austrian city of Bregenz, a location for latest Bond adventure "Quantum Of Solace".

Stainless-steel Jaws

Richard "Jaws" Kiel donned his polished heavy-metal dentures from "The Spy Who Loved Me" to go with the menacing glint of his "Irony the Chrono" timepiece.

The Villain Collection also pays tribute to Christopher Walken's malevolent Max Zorin, who deserves his stylish "Retrograde"; Gerd Froebe's Goldfinger, who gets a massive, golden wristwatch; and Lotte Lenya's Rosa Klebb, who wields a pair of knuckle-dusters welded to an "Irony Lady". And in homage to "Casino Royale", poker-faced master of malice Mads Mikkelsen (alias Le Chiffre) is dealt an "Irony Big" with an ace of spades on the face.

'Quantum of Solace'

Hayek - or "Dr Swatch" - also presented No 22 of the Villain Collection, a bold, black and white Swatch Plastic chrono dedicated to the villainous Mr Greene featured in "Quantum of Solace", the 22nd James Bond film, due for release in Thai cinemas in November.

The Villain collection is now available in Thailand.
