Martial-arts star Pa-nom "Jaa" Yeerum must return to the shoot of his directorial debut "Ong-bak 2" by Monday if he wants to keep his job and get paid.

Sahamongkol Film In-ternational studio boss Somsak "Sia Jiang" Techa-ratanaprasert met Jaa at police headquarters yesterday.

He says Jaa is welcome to finish his film, which is four-fifths complete.

"If he doesn't come back to the set by Monday he'll lose his percentage of the take - that's 25 per cent."

Jaa was at police headquarters seeking protection.

The meeting was the first between the two since trouble hit Ong-bak 2. Jaa walked off the set of the Bt250-million blockbuster saying there were financial troubles.

Both men had lawyers in tow yesterday.

Jaa withdrew demands tabled last week, which included an extra Bt55 million and a flat Bt50-million fee instead a percentage of the take.

"We'll talk about Jaa's future when he finishes the movie," says Somsak, who has paid Jaa Bt36 million already.
