Whiz-kids count the gold

Whiz-kids from Thai-land have bagged medals at the Internation-al Academic Olympics.
In the Mathematics Olympics Pasin Manu-rangsee of Bangkok Chris-tian College and Warat Suksompong of Triam Udom Suksa School emerged with gold.
'Big motivation' "My family is a big motivation. It makes it possible for me to have fun learning math," Pasin, 14, says. He was the youngest contestant in this year's math Olympiad. The math games were held in Madrid between July 10 and today. More than 500 outstanding students from many countries participated. All six contestants from this country brought home a medal.
Medals galore Supanat Kamteu, Suthee Ruangwises and Payut Panwongdecha, all of Triam Udom Suksa School, won silver medals. Patcharapol Sutheparak grabbed a bronze. At the Chemistry Olympics that ended yesterday Pakpoom Angpa-nichjaroen of Bangkok Christian College snatch-ed a gold. Chalermchai Komainthamsopon and Thanatorn Khortawee-pattana of Triam Udom Suksa School and Techin Jullates of Mahidol Witta-yanusorn School each collected silver.
