Thailand Graduate Fashion Week might show you your future clothing
Central World is hosting the first Thailand Graduate Fashion Week Thursday through Sunday, a great chance to assess emerging talent and see some world-class collections too, all for free. The schools participating are Chulalongkorn, Bangkok, Srinakarinwirot, Thammasat, Rajabhat Thonburi, Rangsit and Mahasarakham universities and the Raffles Design Institute. Professional models will parade the students' creations on the catwalk along with selected collections by ML Athadis Diskul and Yuwanart Arayanimitsakul of Nart Season Change. Also on view will be outfits by Teerabul Songwich, the globally acclaimed Thai graduate of Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design and London's Royal College of Art. And the British Council will present the work of the Kingston University graduates who won its College Portfolio awards. Local university students will show their thesis designs in a national competition, industry veterans will share their experiences during onstage discussions and there'll be a College Flea Market and mini-concert as well.
