Veteran singer Nantida "Tu" Assawahem and her 13-year-old daughter Chonthida, who's called "Pleng", have different idea about privacy.

Pleng has reached the age where she's ready to leave the security of her mother's bed and sleep in her own room - at least on weekends.

"I'd like some privacy," she said in a conversation reported in Who? magazine.

"I've given you privacy!" Nantida replied."When you're doing your homework I never get involved, do I?"

Jack gives fans an eyeful

Chubby teenager Chaleumpol Tikumpornteerawong - popularly known as "Jack Fan Chan" - was among the stars at last week's launch of the "Sick Project" album from GMM Grammy's Sanam Luang label. and GTH.

Everyone was dressed as a hospital patient, but portly Jack's robe was a pretty tight fit - so tight that he couldn't wear anything underneath.

This he announced after singing "Khon Dee (Ti Na Ta Mai Dee)", which means "not good looking but still a good buy". "I'm not wearing any underwear today!" Jack proclaimed to gales of laughter.

The other entertainers had brought along family members, but Jack was on his own - or was he?

"My dad is here," he declared just as GTH's chief stepped onstage. "Please welcome my dad, Visute Poolvoralaks!"
