Their time has already arrived

For the US pop-rock band Until June, the waiting is over
From Phoenix in the southwest US state of Arizona, by way of the "Christian rock" charts, comes Until June - two brothers and a pal who play piano-driven pop along the lines of Coldplay and Keane. But Bangkok might literally have to wait "until June" next year to see them. They're touring Southeast Asia, but haven't plugged Thailand into their schedule yet. The trio uprooted from Phoenix in 1999 to pursue musician-hood in Los Angeles, giving themselves a firm deadline of June 2005 to make it or pack it in - hence the name. "Until June" started getting ample play on Christian radio. All three of the band members are practising Christians, but don't present themselves as a Christian band. So although the lyrics are often depressing, the music holds at least a little bit more significance than most of today's meaningless chart toppers.
