Fat expands to Isaan

After successful Fat Festivals in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, organiser Click Radio is heading to Khon Kaen for a smaller-scale, one-day fest on Saturday.
Set for Khon Khaen University's auditorium from noon to midnight, headline acts are Apartment Khunpa, Fryday, Tattoo Colour, Slot Machine, Squeez Animal and Teddy Ska. Hand-made books, designed products, DIY CDs and other indie "Fat" products will be hawked. Tickets are Bt100, available from Click Radio or at the door. Putting theory into practiceListening to music helps you release the stress. If you don't believe it, check out the Thailand Music Therapy Forum: From Theory to Practice from June 23 to 25 at Mahidol University's Collage of Music. Experts from the University of Kansas will share their theories. Keynote speakers are Dr Alicia Clair, the director of music education and music therapy, and associate professor Dr Dena Register, a music terapist for children and battered women.
