Mahidol University International College is holding an intensive one-day workshop next week on "Value-added Personality for a Better Career".

You can learn the meaning of "personality" and how to develop yours, from inner soul to conservative shoes. They'll tell you how to introduce yourself and hand over your name card, and a whole lot more.

The Bt2,500 fee also covers lunch, a snack and a textbook. The workshop, to be conducted in Thai, takes place next Friday from 9 to 4 at the university's Salaya campus in Nakhon Pathom.

A Bt10,000 prize awaits the winner of the digital-photography contest "Looking through the Lens: The World of Science and Math", organised by the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology.

All you need is a colour picture not less than three megapixels in resolution printed out as an 8x10. It should show how science and maths can be used in daily life, and be accompanied by a written description - just a few lines.
