Thaksin and Pojaman Shinawatra are going through a rough patch, marriage-wise, rumours have it, but their appearance at the Gaysorn mall last week at least shows they're still a couple.

Thaksin was poking at shoes in the Gucci store while his wife selected some outfits. Pojaman was clearly enjoying herself, and the ex-premier didn't seem the least bit bored.

So did Soopsip ask for autographs? Nope - there seemed to be at least five bodyguards on duty.

The city just got sexier

With "Sex and the City: The Movie" opening in Thailand on Thursday, things are getting steamy at Siam Paragon and the Emporium.

Yesterday the Emporium had Duangporn Boonyajinda, Napaporn Pothirattanangkul, Hattaya Wongkrajan and Wannaporn Posayanonta chatting about fashion and how they compare to Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte of "Sex". Two hours later Paragon opened a fashion show based on the film.

It's a good thing the sister malls are connected by the Skytrain - that's a long jog for fans of the series.
