A career runway

Published on May 30, 2008

Under a newly launched project called "Thai AirAsia Mechanic Cadet", 30 cadet aircraft mechanics will be fully supported for intensive training at the Civil Aviation Training Centre.

Only students with outstanding school grades and a keen interest in working with Thai AirAsia will be accepted as scholars in the programme. The training lasts for two years and eight months and graduating cadets will then be employed by Thai AirAsia.

The project aims to support an expansion of the airline's engineering department. Visit www.Catc.or.th.

The power of communal action

Graffiti artists recently gathered at Wat Yai Children's Development Centre in Samut Prakan to paint colourful murals on the walls of the centre's zoo. The event was a part of the "D-Power" project run by Oishi.

On June 15, the "D-Power" project will organise the repainting and repair of the buildings at the Maharat Foundation, a welfare centre in Pathum Thani, in preparation for the rainy season.
