Ekkarat "Dak" Wongchalard, singer with rock band Big Ass, is taking a few months off after wrapping up a gruelling tour.
The band recently recorded "Yang Noi" for GTH's new movie "Pid Term Yai Huajai Wa Woon" ("Hormones") and after their vacation will be heading back to the studio to record a new album. I asked him where he'd go if he were freed from his busy life in Bangkok. "Japan."
What's so cool about it? It's a weird and fascinating mix of ancient and futuristic culture.
Okay, we're there - now what? A lot of walking - the roads are really clean. I'll also check out the latest gadgets and visit a few historical attractions.
Next question: who will you take with you? I'm not sure... Maybe I'll travel with my girlfriend or with friends - or perhaps I'll go alone.
The flight to Japan's been cancelled, anywhere else you'd really like to go? I'd like to ride my motorbike around France and try the winding mountain roads the cyclists race down in the Tour de France.
