It's no illusion

Grammy adds a second concert to the Bangkok leg of high-energy singer Da Endorphine's tour

Fans who didn't manage to score tickets for Da endorphine's "Illusion" concert on May 31 might get to see the singer after all. Organisers GMM Live have added a show on June 1, and tickets are selling at a brisk pace.

"I was really surprised to hear that the show sold out in a day. That's such an honour! I'll be putting in double the rehearsals," says Da, whose real name is Thanida Thamwimon.

Da, who went solo last year, will be performing hits from her old band Endorphine as well as songs from her two solo outings and some covers.

Sensory perception

The five senses - sight, smell, hearing, taste and touch - are the theme for the shows.

"We've selected each song to match with one of the five senses. 'Phap Luangta' ('Illusory Scene') is a 'seeing' song, while 'Dok Ratree', which is about flowers, has to do with the sense of smell. For the tactile part of the show, I'll be mingling with the audience," she explains.
