Longines will keep style and substance ticking at Roland Garros
The Longines heritage, a marriage of elegance and sport, will be on display at Roland Garros. This year the famous Swiss watch brand is once again the official partner and timekeeper for the Grand Slam tournament. Longines is proud to be the official timekeeper and partner of the prestigious event and the brand, celebrating 130 years in sport this year, is looking forward to the role. It is a perfect illustration of both its slogan "elegance is an attitude" and its rich sporting heritage. In the 1990s, it sponsored tennis stars Gabriela Sabatini and Michael Chang and later had a partnership with Andre Agassi as well. "We are delighted by this decision. Longines has a long and prestigious past in sports with a reputation for quality and elegance which is in perfect harmony with the image of Roland Garros," said French Tennis Federation president Christian Bimes. Based in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, since 1832, the Longines maison can boast more than 175 years of watchmaking expertise.
