Six Thai fans will leave for Moscow on Monday to join 80,000 fans in the Luzhniki Stadium to witness the Cham-pions League final on May 21.
It will be the first overseas trip for Ghinnoppanat Urkong and Boonchoae Chitmanee, two of the lucky six, who said that the six-day tour will be an unforgettable experience. Ghinnoppanat, 32, a coffee shop owner in Phra Nakhon, Bangkok, said that he was stunned after learning that he was one of the lucky six. "This is my first trip to a foreign country. I think I'm one of the luckiest men in Thailand," he said. "I never thought that I could win it. It's just a dream come true. "I'm yet to prepare for the trip. Heineken sponsored everything for me - passport, airport tax, air tickets and a match ticket. I plan to take many photos when I arrive in Moscow. I hope to get a cha-nce to tour the city." Boonchoae, 46, a Bangkokian who runs a business in the Huamark area, revealed that the trip will be his first flight overseas. "To my great surprise, I won one of the biggest prizes in my life. I have never thought before that I can fly to another country which is very far from Thailand. Actually, I'm a regular drinker and Heineken is the only beer brand I drink," Boonchoae said. "All expenses will be paid by Heineken, so I have to take only some pocket money for shopping. One thing I can't miss is a camera. As this is an unforgettable experience, I have to take many photos. "However, I think I'm ready for the trip. In fact, I'm a fan of Manchester United. They are a superb team with talented players like Cristiano Ronaldo. Win or lose, I think my team have already reached their goal - to play in the final," Boonchoae said.
