The British Council is organising its annual "Pre-departure Briefings 2008" to provide relevant information for students who have now received a letter of acceptance from UK institutions.
The presentations will cover essential issues that students from Thailand need to be aware of, such as UK visa application details and information on the International Graduates and Fresh Talent Working in Scotland schemes, and give them the chance to meet Thai alumni from every region of the UK. Last but not least, there'll be a tea party with alumni of various universities. The session takes place on June 1 from 1 to 5pm at the Library, Novotel Hotel Siam Square. Admission is free but reservations are required. Call (02) 657 5629-31 or visit www.BritishCouncil.or.th.
