I used to drive around the country at weekends but because of the soaring petrol prices I now walk along Bangkok streets instead. There are many cute guesthouses and boutique hotels, so I just do "Hello Bangkok" like a tourist. Actually, I grew up in the Pratunam and Ploenchit areas, so visiting new communities and small sois is quite an experience.

My next programme is to stay over at one of the boutique hotels in the old Rattanakosin Island and check out the newly opened Siam Museum nearby.
