Police wants details from girls

An investigation into the alleged sexual molestation of two female students by a Thammasat University lecturer will require more information from the students, police say.

Case investigator Pol Lieutenant Kitti Cherdkiat said the investigation had not included fellatio. He said no other victims had met the police nor lodged any new complaints regarding the matter.

The probe was prompted by a complaint lodged by parents of a third female student after she turned down his request for her to perform oral sex on him in exchange for good grades.

A team of Thammasat lecturers yesterday opened their own investigation.

Panel chairman Thaweekiat Meenakanit declined to say what had been discussed in the two-hour meeting. The panel will call alleged molester Kamthon Cherdchookiat, all three victims and police officers from Klong Luang in Pathum Thani to its next, undated meeting.
