Guru, fix my back
Mild and even serious back pain is common enough, especially if you sit at a desk all day.

Poor posture and bad digestion are the usual culprits, both stemming from weak stomach muscles. But a few minutes of yoga every day should take care of the problem. Focus on this sequence of asanas, as yogic postures are known: marjaryasana and bitilasana - the cat and the cow - followed by adho mukha svanasana - the downward-facing dog. Start with the marjaryasana-bitilasana combination as shown in the first photo. >> First, get down on all fours with your spine totally straight. >> Inhale, curl your toes under, drop your stomach and look up toward the ceiling. This is bitilasana. >> Then exhale, bringing your feet flat to the floor. Round out your spine, drop your head and look towards your stomach. This is marjaryasana. >> Slowly alternate between the poses for a few minutes, moving your spine one vertebrae at a time, and always end with the movement of the head. >> Next, curl your toes under and lift your hips to form the adho mukha svanasana pose as seen in the second photo.
