Balance that body!
What you need is a good, long soak in oil and clay. Admit it, that would be fantastic. Point your GPS to Spa Botanica and make like a VIP

Feeling tense after a long, hard dayshift in front of your computer? A balancing aromatherapy facial massage at Spa Botanica at the Sukhothai Hotel on Bangkok's South Sathorn Road ought to help. The 90-minute treatment features a cleansing facial to rebalance and refresh the skin and soothe the neck, scalp, shoulders and upper back. Or pamper yourself from head to toe with the Warm Thai Oil and Clay Massage. It has a hypnotic effect - deeply relaxing, and a boost for the blood circulation. The medicinal herbal oils - blends of ginger root and lotus blossom - work as a tonic and in combination with the clay increases your energy. The massage is followed with a body wrap that helps the oils to penetrate thoroughly, cleanse the body and remove toxins lodged deep within the tissue. After that, a warm shower removes the clay and dirt, leaving the body revitalised and appetite stimulated. "We offer treatments by a team of the region's top spa therapists, most of whom have more than 10 years' experience," says manager Supapan Isarankura Na Ayudhya. Supapan oversees the seven VIP rooms that are equipped with en-suite facilities catering to women, men and couples in surroundings of traditional Thai decor, from soft teakwood and light-coloured natural stones to Jim Thompson silks. Set in calm, tropical gardens with a homey atmosphere in the heart of Bangkok, this is Spa Botanica's first Thai branch, just opened in November.
